Amy G. - When David's video hit the number 1 spot on VH1's Top 20, he was a guest on the show and talked about making the video. He said he had to type up the lyrics to the whole song backwards, and learn how to sing it backwards for the video. They taped it normally, with him singing the song backwards, and then play the video backwards, but then it looks like he's actually singing the song the right way. They really should make it a lot easier to find the live version of Permanent. I'm sure not many people know and that's why the album version is being purchased instead, and now all that money won't go where it needs to go, which was the whole reason he was doing this.

This was an unbelieveable performance! It gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. David, this was a great way to honor your brother, I'm sure he's very proud of you.

I went to the show at USC too and saw him at the bus afterward (check out my pics with him and the band)
He was such a cool guy and I loved how he made sure everyone got a pic and autograph. I was also fortunate enough to have a conversation with him, and he is such a nice guy! P.S. - he'll be back in Cola in October performing at the fair!
