I'm so glad you had such a special time with Dave and your friends. It's wonderful you were able to share how much he brought into your life: music, inspiration, and friendship. Also, we love to hear David and Neal laugh so thank you for being such a good sport. Please keep posting.

Great Recap, Coolie. I hope you get extra credit for all the details. It must have taken a while to write, so thanks for taking your time to share. I love recaps that give the good and the not so good. It helps feel like I was there and get a real sense of the vibe of the show.
Sorry that it wasn't that ultimate experience since it is your ultimate (literally) show. Like you, when I have been disappointed at aspects of the show it has been a change in the band vibe. They are always professionals though and sound terrific.
You really think they'll be MWK shows?

Glad your last show ended in such a complete/satisfied place. This run has been great but I understand what you saying about touring "the s*** out of" this record. For everything there is a season and all that.
Your recap is great, just like talking to an old friend getting loving, honest appraisal of people we really care about. I've enjoyed sharing this tour with you.

Did you get to dance with anyone under the disco ball? (FYI, my next door neighbor really and truly has a dance floor in their finished basement including a disco ball, mirrored walls, wooden floors, and bar, (of course). And a steam shower...)
