I discovered years ago while looking through clothes and jewelry I bought but would never wear that ... you gotta gasp. That's the rule. If you don't gasp when you see it, feel it, taste it, touch it, smell it, don't buy it--whatever "it" is. No gasp. No buy. It could be a car or a college degree. No gasp. No buy.

DC makes me gasp.

I gasped at his audition. I gasped at the word-nerd segment, following by the gun-show, and successfully mouthing off to Simon. I gasped during Hello .... actually, that was more like forgetting to breathe than an actual gasp ... more that long "I wanna live!" breath your lungs take when the involuntary respiratory system kicks in. I gasped during Always Be My Baby. I gasped when I got Analog Heart and realize just how good HIS music is.

Actually, DC has taken the gasp to a whole new level. The gasp, the squee, the aforementioned lung collapse and revival, the deep groan, the open-mouthed stare (when no sound can come out), and so on and so forth. All of which leads me here, to a fansite, and this isn't even the first one for DC. I've never been on a fansite in my life and here I am ... on several.

I came. I gasped. I bought. I'm in.
