David's audition was more than a year ago, and he's been on my mind ever since. I was making lunch for the next day, and I remember hearing him speak and coming out of the kitchen, interested to hear him sing. And I absolutely fell in love. Everything, the cute sweater vest and his kickass faux hawk, they way he smiled, the way he thanked them and turned to leave, and when he hugged his mother outside!
It just progressed after that, especially when I got to see videos of him and get to get a sense of his personality. David is just so funny and sweet- so respectful to friends, family, fans, so spontaneous and just dances and acts like a cute little kid, I love how he can then turn on the charm and be the perfect professional, I love that he understands how to promote himself and his music and is still so humble.
He's so perfect---easy on the eyes, wonderful on the ears, and amazing for the heart. David Cook has inspired me to find my creative side, and he's inspired me to write songs and poems and everything else I write. The examples he's set has changed who I am, something inside me is different since I fell in love with this guy, I like myself better this year than I ever have before, and I love him more than any celebrity crush or anybody I've ever seen as an Idol. He truly is an inspiration, and I hope he never changes a thing. xo.
