hey boys-
thanks for giving us an update on part ii of the declaration tour.I have always been impressed how the SONG declaration hooked me upon first hearing it back in november of 08 on SNL. Just today I was clearing out the dvr, saw the SNL clip and watched it--which I haven't done since last year. I was reminded of how bright eyed and full of nervous pride ALL of you were when you performed that song, on THAT stage. Declaring to the world that you have arrived, the album is ready, the tour is upon us, and here is the first track--rock out!

i just heard the itunes recording for the first time after watching the live televised version a week ago (which flew by so fast, I'm sure everyone agrees!)
anyway, this version stands out for all the altruistic reasons, but also, for the fact that tried and true friends are performing it.
It's another one of those magical moments that will always stand out from the blur.
so very beautiful, such a wonderful idea, and a super effective fundraiser!
