I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

In the times that I've been able to meet David, I've been so impressed by his kindness to his fans. He gives you all his attention for those few minutes that you have with him, as if there was no one else there. He looks into your eyes when he talks to you, like what you have to say is important to him. I've watched him interact with children, and I think you see the true measure of a man by watching how he treats children. David loves children and it's obvious by the way he treats them as if they are special to him. His generosity to his friends and loved ones is well documented. He treats his parents with open love and respect. He gives them credit for teaching him values and how to behave as a gentleman should with a woman. His love for his brothers shines through his eyes whenever he speaks about them. These are the things that show the type of human being he is. He is of course an amazing singer & songwriter, but lets face it, there are lots of singers and songwriters out there. What makes David special to me is he is a decent & kind human being. And and that makes him more worthy of my admiration that any other artist I know.
