David, I received a couple great gifts this year, including satellite radio and your album. I was expecting something more gritty/raw/edgy, so I was a little disappointed at first, but I have to tell you, it has really grown on me. I listen to the whole thing on my way to work and on my way home (I have a long commute), and I rarely listen to satellite radio. (Hope the hubby doesn't find out, b/c he spent a lot on the satellite radio.) I always think I've decided on a favorite song, and then I'm surprised to find another song running through my head during the day.
This song gives me raspy voice!
I love singing in my car, and I always get raspy voice with this song, because it's near the end of the album and my voice is almost dead by then. Love it, love it! The hidden song scared the hell out of me the other day. I was playing the album crazy freakin' loud, of course, and then started thinking after this song ended, then I got a phone call, and I totally forgot to skip to the next song (which I had been doing b/c I thought something was wrong with my download). Then, all of a sudden, KOTN started blasting at me outta nowhere! Holy hell! Scared the bejeezus outta me! Love it, though!
