So guys...
You know when you watch a really good love scene on TV, and you feel like looking away because it's just too honest and intimate? I have this same reaction whenever David exposes his big ole gooey heart, whether it be through singing, weeping, speaking, or simply beaming. I am just so impressed with the bravery that it takes to be the vessel of emotion that he is.
Sometimes it's just too much for me to take in.
Cause I'm not brave like that.
But I strive to be. - OCTOBER 20, 2008, 5:11 pm
"I'm just ready to GET IT OUT." Spoken by David about The Record like a pregnant woman in her 8th month of baby making. So there you have it. David Cook is pregnant with a Record. And Rolling Stone thinks it is "soo precious and U2esque and it looks JUST like you Dave!". That article is everything I have ever wanted anyone to write about David and it was written by the ones I wanted to write it. I AM VERKLEMPT. Yet again. Dammit.

"Light On" is safe, sweet, loud, and quite ready for the top 40. Unlike Cook's first solo launch, Analog Heart, there is nothing special about this formulaic rock song. Written by Cornell and the producer of Hinder/Puddle of Mudd, the style harkens back to the latter bands rather than David's. The highlights are all the singer's doing... The heart wrenching "make me stay" and "how bad it feels" are the AHA moments that remind you Cook is singing it.

I've tried deleting the default DC pic and uploading mine to no avail. Any bright ideas?

Seeing the song...
While reading the lyrics I have images running through my mind. They make my heart twist a bit. This is a good thing no?
