  • I got to see David and The Anthemic last night in my hometown - this of itself was very special to me. I've attended 3 other concerts and each was a unique step in the journey that I've (and probably many of us) have been on, parallel with the one David is on.

  • Thanks so much for sharing your recap. Sounds like your handled your Dave-Trance quite well - congrats! You'll have those moments in your memory forever! Are you coming to Richmond??

  • I'm so glad you got to experience DCaTA up close - there's nothing like it! And you got to hang out with lots of folks from DCO - now I'm officially jealous! Some day we'll get to hang out at a concert together! I've never been in the front row - got pushed out of the way by the front-rowers, but even 4 rows back at W&M, I was able to take in all the facial expressions, and general awesomeness from David and Neal. Amazing! I've been to 3 shows so far and have another coming up in 2 weeks, but the excitement has never dulled for me (even though people outside the fandome think it should).

  • Your recap has me grinning ear to ear - you certainly transport the reader so that we can feel like we're there. I can totally relate to your fears about crazy-ville and your doubts about the theater crowd. As we all know (and it's proven over and over) nobody sells David Cook like David Cook. Now I CANNOT wait til my next concert 10/13, in a theater that seems to be a lot like the Sprenkels (LOL).

  • Never too long.... loved your stories and you captured all the characters so well. I can totally relate to your "why I'm a fan" introduction and am constantly amazed at just how much all us fans seem to bond, even when we've never met before.

  • Joe - I remember you posting a bit at the Dash and I'm so glad to have found you again here. I've "friended" you so that I can find you again and again and read your beautiful words.
