Now, I REALLY wish that I had picked Knoxville rather than some other shows in August and September. I would LOVE to be there.
I am so glad you have made this wonderful milestone - 100 shows, almost all sold out! That has to tell you how much people love your music and your live performance.
You make us feel like we are part of an extended family. I look forward to each show knowing that when I leave, I will have experienced something special, just for us on that night.

Eventhough I've bought your album about 4 times already, I'd buy it again, if I could be there....My birthday is even the next day, but I can't fly 1000 miles AGAIN, especially when I'm flying to see you later in the month and a few times in September.....
Yeah, you could say, I'd be into it.
Anyway, have a great time at the Hard Rock Cafe and know that in addition to the HOARDS of people who are going to show up, there are about 1000 times that number who would love to be there too.
You continue to touch so many of our lives in such a positive way.

I know they can really pressure people into using a pre-taped version; I'm so happy your performance of Declaration was live (as was evident by the slight lyric slip in the first verse). I've never understood having artists show up to "perform" and then using a pre-recorded track.
I'm so happy to know that when we go to hear you - we really hear YOU!
Looking forward to my 8th and 9th shows Sunday and Monday - you make them all memorable and special.

I just arrived back at my hotel from the OKC concert. I wanted to place this comment somewhere that you or a member of your group might see it. And, it did seem to fit. First, I am so sorry you had to deal with the crazy, inappropriate fan. Please know that 99.9% of us are respectful of your privacy and were angry and appalled at what she did. We truly appreciate your willingness to visit with us, and I sincerely hope that this incident does not change that. Meeting you in Memphis back on April 11th meant the world to me and has changed my life in so many positive ways.

Dear David,
I don't think there is much left to add. So many have already stated exactly how I felt while watching your interview. We saw what it cost you emotionally to do it (and felt that raw, pit of your stomach feeling right alongside you), and we know why you did it, which makes us respect and admire you even more.

Thank you so much for sharing your great humor with us! I'm sure answering the same questions over and over and over and over again must be incredibly tedious. One of those oft'asked questions is "Where do you get your inspiration?" ....all they need to do is watch this video and they'll see, you get your inspiration from everything around you - including them!
BTW, the GRO/Green Man show - brilliant - epic - not enough words to describe how cool!
