I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...Not only is David Cook the most talented musician to grace American Idol but, he has done something that no one has been able to do during the shows history...He's the first true rocker to win the show and earn the respect of other rockers all over. I believe he's changed the path of AI forever and paved the way for other talented musicians trying to break into the industry but, afraid to take the AI route. I respect him for standing up for what he believes in and presenting us with nothing more than the best of himself. Since the show began i have had many conversations with musicians and male fans of rock music saying they have actually started to watch the show because of him and give him credit for not giving into the needs or wants of the show.. Throughout the show he did what he wanted to do and did it the way he wanted it to be done by doing it the David Cook way. It's a known fact that the most successful people in the world today are those who are not afraid to take risk and this guy has proven that theory time and time again. What you see is what you get...A humble, talented, respectable, stand up guy. The industry needs more artist out there with these qualities. We need more sincere artist like him today who respect the industry who get it for what it is and what it isn't. It amazed me to watch him week after week command the stage with such confidence and ease, like he was meant to be there all along. Without a doubt David Cook was destined for this path he's now on. Never have i seen someone be thrown into something so big so quickly to be so confident and comfortable in their own skin. He has a long successful career ahead of him and i will be right there for the ride the entire way. I'm looking forward to an amazing CD to be released in November and tour to follow next year. David if you are reading this i want to wish you nothing but, success and happiness. You have earned it and i couldn't think of a more deserving person to be put in this position. To everyone else, get on the DC train and enjoy the ride with us cause this guy is going places and you don't wanna be left behind
