That was worth the wait! And perhaps it's the Irish in me that adores a winding and very well told story. I was glad you took the time to fill what could have been a simple David Squee story with slice of life details. I've travelled alone and I've been out of my comfort zone plenty of times, so I enjoyed the emotional nuances attached to what might otherwise been random events - so easily missed in the re-telling had the story been someone else's.

I haven't looked elsewhere so this is a first analysis of the lyrics from me. Please humour me in this as I'm off the cuff entirely.

Funniest Pork Beans yet!
Okay, I vote for the ficus (that isn't really a ficus), the chicken (that isn't really a chicken) and David Cook (who is and always will be true to himself)!!
The best parts? (1) David acting like all those interviewers pretending to give a damn about his answers; (2) The chicken - with the occassional prompting (lol) - giving considered and heartfelt answers, irrespective of what he understand to be the truth of Point (1); and (3) Andrew cracking up in the out-takes!
Now looking forward to more engrossing, well researched, and profound interviews from David Cook.... (lol).
