  • David and family,

This is a poem that was given to me when my beloved husband passed away from kidney cancer. I hope it gives you some peace. I don't know who wrote it, but it is beautiful.

God looked around His garden and found an empty space
He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best
God knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
    He knew you would never
    Be well on earth again
He saw the road was getting rough
And hills were hard to climb

  • David

My sincere condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. I know from experience cancer sucks. Time will not erase the memories but will dull the pain. My prayers are with you, Andrew, Kendra and the children as well as your parents and family. Please know your fans will be here when you are ready.

    With hugs and love

  • Apparently some "fans" have no idea how ticket sales work. DC has NOTHING to do with how a venue sells tickets. The venue (each one is different) is the one that sells the tickets, not the artist. Ticket brokers are a sad fact of life. We don't have to like it, but that is the way it is. Your anger is misplaced if you think DC wants this. Take your frustration our by contacting the venue directly or better yet, contact your legislator and try to get a law to stop this.
