Your April 22 concert at the Ameristar sold out in ten minutes or less this morning (Edit: As it turns out, the KC Star says it was six minutes!), and despite my best efforts, I was not one of the lucky ones to get tickets. So, congratulations on your well earned success already on this tour. I'm really happy for you, but, selfishly, I'm also bummed. Please, promise to come back to KC again soon to perform (or even better add another show this time around, if possible), so that we hometown fans can get another opportunity to see you live ... Thanks!

That's what you are, to have done this vlog to address the concerns voiced by some of your fans. For myself, I want you to be so successful on this tour, that future tours at larger venues are more or less guaranteed. It's a win/win for you and us in the end that way. Sure, I want to see you perform at the Ameristar in April, and am going to try to get tickets (fingers crossed), but, I realize that my efforts might be in vain this time, given the small venue and the hometown demand (You know that we love you here in KC!).

If you have talent, vision, a work ethic, and a heart like yours, anything is possible, given the opportunity. A wall full of platinum - what a nice conversation piece and color accent for your house. Kudos, David - well done and well deserved! I'm so happy that your Christmas/birthday wish came true for you. Dream on, and dream big ... this is just the beginning.

You must be a proud dad - your puppy is so cute and well behaved on camera! I'm thinking that he might be able to give a hand (tail) to Kyle on drums, or maybe Andy on keyboards - I used to have a dog that would actually play the piano with his front paws, and sing along (ok, it wasn't very melodic ... more like howl along)! I'm sure that if talent runs in the family, then Dublin will be a smash! I love the irony of his name, by the way ... very clever!

My previous post was hijacked by another poster or an open quote ("), so here it is again:

Thank you, David ... Can't wait!
Thank you, for checking in. I can't wait to see the new video - I read that the concept was a creative collaboration between you and the director - very cool! I've already heard both CBTM and BBS on your "favorite station on the Web", kcradio.com, and, I'm looking forward to hearing both singles all over the radio soon. See you at the Ameristar on April 22. Take care, and keep on having fun!
