I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...when I listen to David's music it helps me escape. My life on paper is really good and should make me the happiest person in the world but there is something missing. Whenever I fell like screaming and running away because no one seems to understand me or I am just fed up at where I am in my life I put on my ipod and listen to David Cook and it makes me feel alive again. He is a wonderful songwriter and has collaborated with some really great people to further his career. Thanks to his brother for pushing him into auditions for American Idol otherwise who knows how long it would have taken for me to discover him. I just hope he is able to stay the loveable, charming, funny David we have all come to recognize, this business seems to push some people over the edge. Some may have called him cocky but I would think you need to be in order to survive he is an incredibly talented performer and that confident swagger is what makes women feel drawn to him. He is an artist who puts heart and soul back into music and not just a good singer looking for a paycheck.
