I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...as Paula Abdul said during American Idol, David is "the whole package" talent, talent, talent!!! I am a VERY happily married, slightly overweight southern belle(born in Louisiana, raised in Mississippi, live in Florida) full time mom with three kids. One of my children is 17 and has autism, another is 10 and has profound ADHD, then I have a 19 year old daughter who just moved back home, who is at least as challenging as the boys!! David Cook is who I tend to turn to when I get stressed. I don't know, but his music and voice are very calming to me, and just puts me in a better place!!! Yes, he's sexy and seems like such a "real"person, but the reason I LOVE HIM is his personna and his unbelievable voice and uniqueness, and ability to make songs his own!! I would absolutely LOVE to meet him!!! In high school many years ago, I was very involved in music, first in band and then in chorus. Singing was my passion, and I can tell that it is with David as well.Please come to Pensacola, Florida on tour!!!! Even though money is tight in our family, I'd have to find a way to come see him!! My husband knows this, and although he rolls his eyes in his head at the way I swoon when I see him sing on You Tube(which I do everyday)he definitely agrees with the talent aspect, and says that David is destined to become THE new superstar. When and if you come to town, come over and I'll make you a home cooked meal!! Feel free to bring your girlfriend(s) but be ready to sing!!!! Even though I'm probobly older than your mother, just know that I'm a HUGE FAN and plan to follow your career for many years to come!!!
