I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...David Cook is just one heck of a guy. Not only does the man ALWAYS look good, but, he can rock like no other artist...EVER! He's got the biggest and best heart that anyone could ever ask for. His mother sure is lucky to be blessed with the most amazing son God could have ever given to any other woman. She's raised quite a young man.

He's gonna be the best selling artist out there when his album is released on November 18th. Even if I wasn't a really big fan of his, I'd but the album in support of him anyway. He's so down to earth too. I think that's my favorite thing about him. He's not one of those artists that are just in this for the fame and fortune. At the shows on the Idols Tour, he took the time to talk to as many fans as he could and signed autographs for them. I hope that he will follow throguh with the same routine on his solo tour. I am so happy that his former band mate, Andy Skib will be joining him too. But, I am not sure if Andy is actually also opening for him too or not. I know there is a petition on Myspace going around for people to sign to get that to happen, but I am not sure if it's actually a definite "yes" yet.

I hope I do get to meet the man someday. He's just so "normal". Although I will confess I never heard his name until he hit American Idol, nothing has changed about him. He's still the same dorky, funny, sweet, lovable, kind, generous guy. I wish more guys would learn to be like him.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is why I am a fan of David Cook and you should be too...
