Last week I was all stressed out with work and the perfect solution was putting on the Cook CD and listening to my favorite tracks. Ahhh, much better.
Today I wasn't as stressed out - it was a Monday, but it was a good day! My dad is doing better today. After radiation (which was a little tough on him) he's now undergoing a new treatment and he's able to sleep on his back now and even sit back on the couch, where before it gave him so much pain. Joy! It seems like progress.

This has to be my favorite song on the album. I think I listen to this song more than any other on the album - love the melody and the lyrics. I think this song really showcases David's voice well, especially at full power - he can definitely belt it out without screaming. And I think the production quality is pretty good too. This song got my attention on the radio and after hearing it a few times compelled me to explore the rest of the CD.

Hi! This was incredibly enjoyable for me to read since I missed out on all this stuff during and after Season 7 and never got to experience those performances when they happened. Very informative and honest! Love the pics!

So I've been looking through the forums and I can't really find a thread to jump into... everyone here is WAY into DC, which is totally cool but I guess I'm not used to this level of fandom. I think the closest I've gotten to that level of enthusiasm about any celebrity or movie or whatever has been... geez, I don't know. It's so great that everyone is so pumped and so involved with David Cook. I mean everyone is super sweet and SMART and clever and witty, I love the people here. He has the best fans!

Effortless.... gorgeous.
I love this song! Their voices mesh together so easily and seamlessly... they sound beautiful together. It would be great to hear them record more songs together. And Colbie looks just stunning in the video. What a lovely song.
