It is just such a treat to hear about a David and the A concert from eilonwy:
"it was like one of those "touch the king to get healed of leprosy" situations from medieval Europe, so I hope Cook's immunizations are up to date, also that he's well-informed on ergot."
Hilarious and brilliant; that you came up with that makes me really wish I could see the inside of your mind more often.
Yes to the experience of seeing IJDIYAT in person; it blew me away, too; David, and the band sends it over the top.

Hi Yak
This is so funny and well written. I think you are brave to be so honest. I really appreciate that. Not many will dive into the "David isn't 100% every night" waters. Never mind that if he were, he wouldn't be human (psstt, that's part of what we love about him... that he's (gasp) human!)And I'm going to have to whisper this, cause I hate when these things show up on my profile page: I am so glad to have someone agree with me about R.S. Your description is hilarious.
Thanks for the entertainment. Now go get yourself published!

and the most brilliant. Just intensely hilarious and silly and wonderful. The title?? "A Ficus... " Loved it! Though I have to say it really should be the title of your soap opera-to-be... My fingers are crossed (as are chicken's legs) that we see that as an upcoming episode..
Thanks for brightening my day, a lot.

I've noticed that people have "friended" me now and then. I just want to let people know that I have never understood what the reason for it is. In addition, I have not ever been able to see a list of anyone who has put me on their list; I don't know why not, even when I've followed the directions in the FAQs. I also understand that when you "friend" someone you can see when they are on-line (at least on DCO). I'm not crazy about that idea in either direction (me seeing someone or vice-versa; kind of feel it's invading someone's privacy).

I have always loved this picture of David and Michael Johns, and I wish I remembered who took it because I thank you for it and am happy to give you credit. I hope it is okay with you that I use it for now as my avatar. It is truly a beautiful image.

Thanks for this
eilonwy, This mini-course in marketing so clearly and succinctly teaches how to review not only David, but anyone or anything one might be interested in promoting. Just a really good lesson in persuasion without being overbearing, and in getting people to actually listen. Thanks very much for going to the trouble of posting this.
