The one time I noticed Andy appearing sad and removed was followed by him coming down with a bad cold. I remarked to my dh that he looked very disconnected and pale and sure enough, two days later he was sick.

Or maybe he just misses his GF and new puppy? It is hard to say, but I am sure it is just temporary and he will soon be himself again.
