I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...David Cook is the real deal. Not only is he an amazing artist & musician, he is an amazing person with a kind and generous heart and soul. No, I don't know him personally, but I would feel honored to personally know him. I feel like I should know him from following him all the way through American Idol, the idol tour (I made 2 shows), through countless articles, TV appearances, web forums, etc., now I'll continue to follow him through his, what I expect to be, a very long and extremely successful solo career. He is truly a unique individual.
