    Wow...thanks for sharing that! That video really does illustrate your point exactly. Eddie Vedder's story really does reach out and grab you by the heartstrings. I even choked up when he said "the curse was lifted" because of the fans interpretation. I really like that song...amazing lyrics!

    I definitely think any writer expects their songs to be interpreted through the ears of the listener and all of their experiences. I'm sure David is no different. But I agree that we need to be careful not to assume our vision is the "right" one.

    I've never really been a "blogger" and this is really the first time I've felt like I've even had something to say. So here goes:

    I was listening to the radio this morning and Anna Nalick's song "Breathe" came on. I've listened to it a million times and everytime these words really catch my attention:

    "And I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd
    Cause these words are my diary, screaming out loud
    And I know that you'll use them, however you want to"
