I couldn't believe the quality of this video. The close ups of all the band and David were just spell binding. I agree with most of the comments that Barbasol. is a great rock out number but I think too that LIE would absolutely make a fantastic single. Most people have all lived through a moment or a night like the one in this song and David's voice shows every emotion about what ending a relationship feels like. I loved it when he just finished and looked down. It was a perfect ending to the emotion he put it into it and the feelings that the song generates.

David, for all the goofy moments and the "slaves to the grind" that you endured on American Idol, I am so thankful that you did, othewise the world would have missed out on something so special. If I was your mom, I wouldn't be able to stop crying, because of the joy of seeing your dream come true and the result of your hard work coming through on this great album. I haven't been a rock fan for a long time.

Do you really think the site will hold up at midnight for all the people who are going to be trying to get on to hear the surprise? I don't think I can stay awake so may have to wait until tomorrow.

I noticed this morning that a lot of people are sending their Light On Cover attempts to You Tube and not to VH1. This is too bad, because some of them are pretty good. Others, not so good. As David has said himself, this is a very hard song to sing. The chorus is great for singing along, but the verses are tough. But I hope all the triers on You Tube will be encouraged to move their try onto the correct site so we can vote on them. and ensure that David gets to hear them for the Challenge. Thanks

Wouldn't it be hysterical if David Archuleta and Michael Johns submitted their version in the contest? Or even Jason Castro on his ukulele. ??? The little kid video was hilarious. Isn't this how David got his start?

I Will Eventually Get my CD!
Since I am disabled and not too mobile, I was worried about getting a copy of the CD. Downloading from Itunes only lets me play it on my computer, because I have no technical knowledge about all the other gizmos. When my friend heard that I was anxiously awaiting a chance to have something by David to play on my CD player with my earphones at night in my room, she said she was coming from 100 miles away this weekend and she would bring me the CD.
