On an absolutely phenomenal debut album. There is not a bad song in the bunch. Please release a new single soon. There are at least 8 songs that could be top hits. I am waiting for Lie, Permanent, and I Did if For You to come out as singles. When will you be releasing the tour schedule? I have my fingers crossed that Chicagoland will be one of the stops.

It was almost like being there. I had the CD playing while I read and just could feel the energy and the magic of the night. So much love out there in the universe for David!

Davember is off to a fantastic start beginning with the mindblowing performance by David and the band on Saturday Night Live. Never before has a new artist been given this kind of vote of confidence and David rose to the challenge. He sounded fantastic and the band rocked out. I loved every minute of both songs. Random thoughts:
Light on is a terribly difficult song to sing live. No time to breathe. "No air, no air."
David Cook looked hot and completely stoked.
Neal Tiemann (the Dr.) can wail on lead guitar. -

Can I just say I love the video! I mean I really love it. David looks incredible. The band is fantastic. I have always liked the song, but the video raises it to new heights. Absolutely incredible. I don't have enough positive adjectives. When can we download it? I need to have this video on my i-pod and computer.

I just read a few posts and wanted to say that I wasn't one bit distracted by Kyle's hair until people started posting about it. Then when I looked back I could see what they were talking about. But, I have to say he did a great, great job and if that is what it takes to get into the song, go for it. The entire band was phenomenal. Loved Andy's vocals. Loved Neal's guitar solo in Light On. Loved Joey's enthusiasm and sheer joy after the set was over. And, I loved Kyle's hair. They looked and sounded like a rock band and were the perfect complement to DC's voice.

Such Great News!
Not surprised, but very, very happy for David. Considering the current state of the economy selling this many albums in the first week is nothing short of incredible. Not surprised because David Cook is incredible. Keep on rockin' David and we will keep on buying the CDs and the downloads, and watching for you where ever you perform.
