Today is the first time I've ever read the "official" words, believe it or not. Every single time, of the thousands of times I've listened to this song, I thought he said, "Who never let the WORDS get the best of him." Today I see that the official lyric is WORST. Reading along and listening at the same time, I do hear that he does seem to be saying "worst." I never even had a question in my mind that he wasn't saying "words", but I do have to admit that it seems to be "worst." -

Excellent Post
I barely saw the edges of the Savan Kotecha discussion on Twitter. I must not follow the people involved. I'm sad that this went on, because David has seemed to be sharing just a little more of what's going on with us on Twitter. I'd hate to see that come to an end because of over-zealous fans. We fans need to realize that we are not David's personal friends, as much as we'd like to be. And just because David is collaborating with someone doesn't give us the right to think that person is our personal friend, either.
