  • Most days, people have to wonder what their favorite voices are doing when they're not on the airwaves or the tube, and most of what they get is either paparazzi gibberish or 'he said, she said, he said' story that tends to distort fact more often than not. It's a very stressful way to here about your 'idols' like that, and none too comforting in the long run.

  • All in all, I'm have to say you pegged this pretty hard on the head. Personally, I think 'Light On' is just a brilliant song. Anyone expecting something like Analog Heart might be sadly mistaken if they expect him to keep to the same proverbial song and dance of that album. As you and I talked about once (I believe), his voice and David Cook himself have been on a long road of maturity. With Axium, one could listen and tell that he wasn't quite attuned with his voice and what it's pontential could truly be. It was his first steps out into this "big wide world", and that shows immensely.

  • The time of your life? Couldn't you have made another reference that wouldn't have been so 'Oh, look at me in all my cheezy glory?' (Sticking out tongue). I mean, even I could have made a better quote to one of the songs that doesn't sound like a unicorn crapping out a rainbow! (BTW, so joking! As much as I hate admitting, I will watch David sing it as long as it continues to sound good to me... lol)
