Because, in all seriousness, you write the funniest stuff on this site, bar none. Being an MD, I am of course particularly taken with the "Dave Cook attempts abdominal surgery and casually lacerates Intern Steve's liver" segment. But the exploding Swedish design team is almost as good.
I feel a Mythbusters episode coming on...

Without that quality -- that determination to strive for more and better than he's already done, and refusal to rest on his laurels -- David would not be the musician we know him to be. He'd have packed it up and gone home when the going got tough. And there is nothing inherently wrong with taking stock and deciding that you DID meet your goals.
I admire this quality of his greatly, frankly.

You have a lot of hands to hold, David.
Listened to "Permanent" today and got to thinking, in the second chorus (when it's about you and not Adam), that you are NOT alone. That I, and thousands of others, will hold your hand -- and hold you and your family in our hearts -- as you go through this. It doesn't matter that you don't know us; we love you. You'll feel it when you're ready to take the stage again.
