I'm a fan because David Cook is an original. He's above the fame, above the hype, above all the superficial nonsense that comes with the business. No denying he's got talent. He's got the pipes, he can write the hooks and he delivers those glory notes like you wouldn't believe (had you not seen him do it at least a hundred times). He's truly gifted with an incredible ear. He's an artist whose got something to say, and he knows exactly how he wants to say it. He can make a difference, and he's giving it his best shot. He's wanted this for such a long time, and now everyone is finally listening. And I can't wait to see what happens next.
