I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
David Cook brought me back to life. Literally.
Having lived through some extremely difficult and devestating events over the last few years, i had basically shut my emotions down completely. Keeping my distance from everyone and everything. Thinking it was the best way to avoid getting hurt yet again.
But, somehow...and i still haven't managed to figure out exactly how or why it happened...David and his music managed to pull me back. Pull me back into life again. He pulled me out of the black hole i had been living in for far too long. Made me care about music again. Made me want to be the old ME. He made me *feel*. He gave all of that back to me. And i will never, ever be able to thank him enough for that.
