I saw everyone commenting on how wonderful your recap was so I had to check it out. It was wonderful! lol
You had me laughing and crying and squeeing all at once. I'm so happy you got to talk to David, as I cannot think of any experience better than being in front of that man and having him look you right in the eye while you are talking. I sounds like you held it together quite well, and you were able to put off the David trance till the end. By now you should still be in the after-glow stage of your experience. What an amazing experience it is. Right?

I finally found your recap and just wanted to say how much I loved reading this. I used to live in London (for a short while) and I often put myself in International fans shoes and I can't imagine how much it would hurt to not have access to him and his shows because of being too far away. So I hope he gets his wish to play not only the UK but also all over the world where everyone can experience his music and awesomeness.
Great recap. I felt like I was there with you guys. BTW, I am vsteph1 on the home. Just wanted you to know.

As you can see by your fan's responses that we understand that life happens and that sometimes plans need to be changed. We also know that you are a professional and would not cancel a show unless you had a very good reason.
Everyone has said the same thing. You do what you have to for you and yours and we will be here waiting for you when you get back. Take your time and please take care of you. We love you.

THE VOICE
A very well written blog. Thank you for that. I loved the comparison to Elvis. I'm not a Elvis fan (I know, sacrilegious) but I get that he had a unique voice and he was very talented. Just a little over the top for me. But I like what you said about rock bands being a dime a dozen (or something to that affect). And you are right, the one thing they both have in common are their unique voices. I swear, I could listen to David sing, or even talk all day long. As someone once said on the Idol forums, there is something in it his voice that tickles every happy spot I have in my brain.
