I'm a fan (and you should be too) because, yes, he had me at "Hello". No one can sing it like David Cook! I was brought back to the world of Music as an outlet for my stress. Starting with American Idol, David's performances became something I looked foward to, to get me through some troubled times. He has reintroduced me to my link to music, so my soul can recharge. David is talented, and not only sings, but plays guitar well. He did a cover of Lionel Richie's "Hello" that became his intro for the AI tour in '09. He did a great cover of the Beattles' "Elenor Rigby" as well. Some of my favorite covers are "Little Sparrow", "Innocent", "Billie Jean", "All I Really Need is You", Always Be My Baby", "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". I have recently (ahem) aquired his music from his "Analog Heart" Album. Jeez I wish I could buy a hard copy, but David is not backpedalling to re-release it. My favorites of this album is "Stitches", "Makeover", "Let Go", "Searchlights", and "Don't Say a Word". David was also a part of a band called "Midwest Kings" which can be bought on itunes. (Love it too!) My favorites are "Till I'm Blue", "Anodyne", "Waterside", "Undertow", "Lemmings", "A Scarlet Letters", and "By Accident". David's latest Album self titled "David Cook", is a treat to listen to! I don't think David can make something that won't be successful! My favs of this album are "Lie", "I Did It For You", "Come Back to Me", "Mr. Sensative", "Bar-ba-sol", and "A Daily AntheM". David is currently working on a new album and I can't wait to hear it!! I have already heard two new songs he wrote one being, "U and I". I want to support David in all he wishes to be successful in. (Even golf! LOL) Go David! We are behind you all the way!
