How can anybody not be a fan of David Cook. I was attracted to his song choice first. I've always loved So Happy Together and he rocked it out which gave him bonus points. The second week I was attracted to his Word Nerd package. Always been a lover of words and I become sucked in through his extensive vocabulary and intelligence that just screamed from the package piece. By the third week I had found out about his prior groups and his solo album and knew David Cook could write and perform ridiculously good. And then David came out in front of a hazy red spotlight and killed me with Hello. I've been an obsessive fan ever since. I'm surprised my computer hasn't blown up with the amount of pics I've downloaded and all the photo collages I've created in his honor. Finally, I'm alright with being a fan of David. Through Dave, I now have a cyber network of friends that I don't know how I managed to live without. Through Dave I also have witnessed his dedication to being a wonderful human being. His support of various cancer charities and the people who suffer with cancer such as Lindsey Rose and his brother, Adam, have left me in awe. The fact that he wears bracelets to show support for different causes is truly inspiring(he even wore one for my friend who suffers from Lupus). So yeah, I'm a fan of the man and his music. Light On, David.....keep making beautiful music for us to match your beautiful soul.....we will keep on listening and supporting your artistic efforts.
