I'm a fan, because not only is David Cook incredibly gifted with music, no matter if it be his left-handed guitar to his amazing, resounding vocals, he is an all around fantastic person I certainly look up to. He shows astounding support for his family, and for his friends. He's humorous, modest, and of course, as every female fan is aware, drop-dead gorgeous. This fantastic array of charisma and charm has created a true "idol", pun intended, for thousands. He's no ordinary rocker; he's a role model too. I especially find his support for his brother inspiring, and the orange wrist band for Lindsey Rose, in Tampa, adorable. I happen to live and Florida, and was so excited when I read what David had done for the girl. It's incredibly heart-warming, and a true image of David.

Not only is he wonderful personality wise, he's smart too! Who can resist a charming word nerd? My friends and I love rambling on with words we learned from our crossword puzzle addict. Nobody said musicians can't be educational too.

When it comes to his voice, there's something about it that's just too unique to describe. It seems to have a soft, ballad-like feel to it, but in a split second, it can be that sexy rocker melody we've all grown to love. His range is amazing, from dark, love songs, like Music of the Night, to (my personal favorite), rock-out loud Eleanor Rigby renditions. That's sure to take him far, as if he wasn't well on his way already.

These are only a few of the reasons I'm a fan. David "had me at hello" and has kept me hooked ever since. I'm eagerly awaiting the album, and swaying along to Light On as I write this. He's a hero to me, a rolemodel to many, and the new revolution for rock. Kick some musical ass David.
