As great as this tour will be for those who have a chance to attend, it is by no means a "national tour." Any tour that excludes the western half of the US, including huge states like California and Texas, is not "national." At best it can be described as "half-tional."
We all love you, Dave, but this is really disappointing. Plus, making a lot of these shows "student only" is exclusive and hurtful to many fans who have literally helped to put you where you are.

I was so excited and then so disappointed Friday when the dates went up at AOL. I live in California, and was eagerly anticipating when I would be able to see the guys play. Now, again those of us in the western half of the US are playing the "wait and see" guessing game. I am considering trying to go to the U of Tulsa show (if it doesn't sell out to students in the first 10 minutes...) because I don't know when or if David will come any closer. Regardless, it means waiting until at least May for the guys to travel westward.

Just going to reiterate the wish that more dates are announced for California and other western states. I woke up this morning very excited, then it quickly turned to disappointment. I live in Sacramento, and the closest show to me is Tulsa. Please, oh, please David and EEB, come to Northern California sometime in the not so distant future! Not only are there many colleges and universities, there are also many casinos, such as Konocti Resort in Clear Lake! Also, Lake Tahoe is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and there are many fun places to play there as well!!

Dates and locations for the tour!!! Really, Dave, all I asked for for Christmas was money so I could see you and the guys play. Now, where and when? I am tapping my foot... Love ya and hope you get to have some fun in Vegas while you're there!
