SCREAM!!!

David Cook sang "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" for Hilary Clinton last night at Carnegie Hall for the 19th Annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards. I loooooove that song, need a studio version of that song, and now, Senator Clinton has what I'm sure is a very nice version in her memory bank.

I'm seriously wrestling with the green monster now....

I don't think I can wait for this album much longer....!!! Only 15 more days to go....

That's my declaration, to anyone who's listening......

This is tooooooo funny!! Why does it seem like American Idol ended two years ago, instead of a mere five months??

I am on PINS and NEEDLES waiting for this new album. This week, starting with Monday's radio interviews, then the record cover peek, song list, trying to decipher what-the-heck "Bar-ba-sol" means (lol), the news about SNL, hearing "Light On" on my local Top 40 station (finally)....I've had some serious Cookie Overload.

You would think that I've had my fill, and that should satiate me for a while, right? WRONG! I'm anxious for the album now, more than ever! STOKED!!

Well, David Cook, this has been an interesting few days, huh?

First we hear news of an “mid-week” release. Then, we get some lyrics to ponder and dissect and digest for a while. And, let me tell you, we were DEEP. They have so many possibilities and can go so many directions. The impact would be phenomenal.

Then, we prepared ourselves for a Wednesday release and were thrown with a change of plans. Due to high demand, we got it a day early! Weeeeeeeeeeee!

David Cook, you're killing me. I'm just sayin'.

I’m looking at these lyrics – for about the millionth time – and I amazed at just how affectively touching they are.

Surely, some could say that they are just words or it's simply a song. But, as I learned long ago, there seems to be so many facets of David Cook, that this could never be written off as “simply a song”.
