This is a GREAT song! I was a little surprised that the chorus came in so quickly after the first verse, but it still works well and changes up the flow a bit.

When I first downloaded the single on iTunes, I hadn't seen the video. My interpretation of the message brought to mind the vision of a Sailor or Marine being deployed and the struggle of leaving a loved one behind again; waiting. The words fit perfectly with the feelings experienced during the point of leaving and the longing for the return. (I thought it read: "eyes to the sea," instead of: "seasons.")
