I became a fan because of my two daughters. I work away from home during the week and miss out on a lot of family time. To help bridge that gap, I was able to carve out time in the evening to watch AI from my hotel room in whatever city I was in while at the same time my girls would be watching from home. We would call each other after each performance and talk about the songs. I think it is so cool that they both gravitated toward a rocker because they both studied classical violion for many years, although they've always enjoyed pop music and hip hop. Anyway, this was the best season ever. We cast hundreds and hundreds of votes for David Cook each week and went crazy voting during the finale. When DC was announced as the winner, my thirteen year old ran up and down the streets of our neighborhood screaming out David Cook Won!!
