The annual two-day event, benefiting the Cancer Center at Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas City, set a new record, raising more than $3.5 million — bringing the total raised to more than $16.5 million since the event was founded.

I’m always so humbled to be able to participate in Big Slick. It’s such a fun event, but the fact that it does so much good for Children’s Mercy Hospital in my hometown of Kansas City makes it so rewarding.
