Finding a cure for brain tumors and providing support to brain tumor patients and their families is a cause that’s very close to David’s heart. David has been a staunch supporter of the cause since 2009, participating every year in the Race for Hope-DC, rappelling down a skyscraper in San Diego as part of ABC2’s Over the Edge for Brain Cancer, and hosting other various fundraisers all in memory of his older brother, Adam, who passed away from the disease. Over the past ten years, David and his fans have raised over $1.3 million for brain cancer and brain tumor research through the Race for Hope and other fundraising projects.
David is excited to be returning to Kansas City, Missouri June 1-2 to join hosts Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, Eric Stonestreet, David Koechner and their celebrity guests for this year’s Big Slick Celebrity Weekend. This will be David’s third year participating in this annual fundraising event, with all proceeds benefiting the Cancer Center at Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas City.
Look for David to join stars from the tennis and entertainment worlds November 10 for the 2018 Chris Evert / Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic taking place in Delray Beach, Florida November 9-11. This will mark David’s ninth year participating in this fun charity event that raises money ($24 million, since 1989) to fund programs for at-risk children and their families.
