Kinky Boots on Broadway bid farewell and ‘Happy Trails” to David Cook last night, and David took to social media to share a bit about what his time as Charlie Price and at ‘The Factory’ has meant to him.

I’m so sorry, I don’t know who took this. (UPDATE: ? = @micheleeann) But I am immensely thankful to whoever captured this moment. This entire experience changed my life in ways I didn’t even see coming. I’ve made friends out of some of the most wonderful people. To everyone associated with @kinkybootsbway, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! I will miss the crazy-talented, incredibly-loving family that allowed me to spend some time in their factory. To anyone reading this, I ask you to continue to support this show. It’s a beautiful story. One I was honored to get to help tell.
