The 2022 Race for Hope-DC took place this past Sunday, May 1, collectively raising a grand total of almost $1.4 million by event day benefiting the National Brain Tumor Society.
David Cook and his Team for a Cure were among the top fundraising teams again this year, with fundraising continuing through the end of May. Since 2009, David and his fans have raised over $1.6 million for brain cancer and brain tumor research through the Race for Hope-DC and other fundraising projects.
Friday evening, David performed a full-band show from a sold-out Jammin’ Java in Vienna, VA, which was also live-streamed via the Mandolin platform, with all proceeds from the event and live stream benefiting the Team.
