Since my favorite DC song is always changing, I decided to keep track of them here. It will be fun to see how they vary (you know, depending on mood, weather, stress level, moon phase, # of DC appearances!, etc).

2009 04-24: Straight Ahead - because the videos of him performing this in KC this week, turning the house lights up, taking in the scene, and then singing "take a minute just to breathe, and think of everything you wanted, and what you got instead" . . . wow. What a moment for him!

My mother-in-law is a big fan of American Idol and while she was mostly a Carly fan, she was definitely plenty cookified. Her birthday is August 31st so I got us tickets to attend the show in Minneapolis as a gift. Officially makes me the best daughter-in-law evah! No, it does not matter that I am the only one in the family so far.

Can’t let 2008, the Year of Cook, come to a close without completing my DCO Profile. I’m pretty sure that would be sacrilegious. Plus I want to get this down somewhere before I forget it. ** Warning ** - this will be long-winded. It's how I roll. Here we go!
Before the Gratitewer dates were announced I had made plans to visit my sister in Las Vegas over the Fourth of July weekend (she lives there, I live in Minneapolis). Imagine my glee when I saw that the Vegas tour stop was on 7/5/08! Let the plotting begin!
